Since 2019 Daphne and Juan and their team have been creating special moments on the Costa del Sol — with an eye for detail and decoration that does not get thrown away.
Our story
Four chapters, from a Dutch wedding venue to the beach at Guadalmina.
Daphne spent ten years as a stylist at Dutch weddings and corporate parties; Juan built and ran everything behind the scenes. In 2018 they swapped the Netherlands for San Pedro de Alcántara — and discovered that Europe’s finest party venue was already there: the beach at sunset.
What started as a luxury picnic for friends on Guadalmina beach got out of hand, in the best way. The photos went round, the first strangers called, and within six months there was something on the sand every week.
Work with decoration every day and you also see what gets thrown away every day. So MooieDeco deliberately chose reusable: the entire balloon decoration line comes from Dutch manufacturer PilaMania — storm-proof, beautiful for weeks and packed away compactly afterwards instead of binned.
More than 250 events later, MooieDeco is a team of four plus a regular summer crew. Still small enough that you get the same person on the phone from quote to take-down — and still with the best workplace in Europe.
What we stand for

The team
Four regular faces, plus a summer crew when the season kicks off.
Stylist
Sees a stage in every cove. Designs the set-up, picks the colours and is first on the sand on the day itself.
Operations
Run sheets, logistics and the best paella contacts on the coast. If it is ready on time, that is his work.
Founder & stylist
Flowers, colour and the last ten per cent. The only one who notices a ribbon hanging half a centimetre off.
Founder & all-rounder
Builds storm-proof, even when the levante picks up. Knows every beach access between Estepona and Málaga.

Sustainability
Our balloon decoration is modular and reusable: after your event it moves on to the next party instead of the bin. No helium, no disposable confetti, but local partners for catering and flowers. That way the beach stays as beautiful as your moment.
Service area
Our home base is San Pedro de Alcántara and we work along the whole coastal strip: Estepona, Marbella, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Torremolinos and Málaga. Further afield is fine too — just ask and we will work it out for you.
